Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Process day-to-day payments including vendor bills, employee reimbursements, and statutory dues.
Ensure timely and accurate execution of payments via NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, UPI, or cheque.
Maintain payment records and support documentation for audit and internal review.
Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve payment-related discrepancies.
Coordinate with vendors, procurement, and internal teams to verify invoices and payment terms.
Monitor payment schedules and ensure timely clearance of dues as per company policy.
Support in the preparation of bank reconciliations and daily fund position reports.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of TDS, GST, and other relevant statutory compliance related to payments.
Assist in internal and statutory audits by providing required documentation and clarification.
Ensure strict adherence to approval workflows and internal control systems.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (B.Com, M.Com preferred).
2–4 years of experience in finance/accounts with hands-on experience in payment processing.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems).
Strong understanding of banking processes, vendor payments, and payment cycle management.
Familiarity with tax deductions (TDS), GST input credits, and related compliance.
Good command over MS Excel and financial documentation.
Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and time management.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and multitask effectively.
