Job Purpose:

To manage end-to-end GST compliance, filing, reconciliation, and reporting processes along with preparation of MIS reports. The role requires strong knowledge of GST law and practical application in the infrastructure sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• GST Compliance & Filing:

• Handle complete

  end-to-end GST return filing

  (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C).
• Ensure timely and accurate uploading of data and returns.
  
• Manage e-way bills, reverse charge mechanism (RCM), input tax credit (ITC) reconciliation, and vendor compliance.
  
• Monitor changes in GST laws, circulars, and notifications, ensuring compliance with updated regulations.
  

• Reconciliation & Verification:

• Reconcile GST liability with books of accounts, GSTR-2B, and vendor invoices.
  
• Identify mismatches, follow up with vendors, and resolve discrepancies.
  
• Perform periodic reconciliation of Input Tax Credit (ITC) for infrastructure projects.
  

• MIS & Reporting:

• Prepare

  monthly/quarterly MIS reports

  on GST liability, ITC utilization, compliance status, and impact analysis.
• Provide management with GST-related insights for cost control and project profitability.
  
• Support in statutory audits, GST audits, and internal audits.
  

• Coordination & Support:

• Liaise with external consultants, auditors, and tax authorities for assessments, clarifications, and notices.
  
• Support finance and project teams in GST implications on contracts, procurement, and billing.
  

Key Skills & Competencies:

• In-depth knowledge of

  GST laws and practical application in infrastructure projects

• Proficiency in

  GSTN portal, e-way bill system, SAP / ERP systems

  .
• Strong skills in

  Excel, MIS preparation, and reconciliation

  .
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving ability.
  
• Good communication & coordination skills for vendor and cross-functional interaction.
