Role Overview: As a Business Development Executive, you play a crucial role in driving new business growth by actively seeking out leads, making cold calls, and executing email campaigns. Your primary focus will be to promote logistics services to potential clients and convert them into long-term partners. You will be responsible for negotiating deals, addressing client objections, and nurturing strong customer relationships to ensure repeat business. Effective coordination with internal teams is essential to ensure the smooth execution of services. Key Responsibilities: - Promote logistics services to prospective clients through various channels such as self-sourcing, references, networking, and utilizing CRM tools to maximize revenue. - Generate fresh leads and cultivate logistics opportunities across India and other target regions. - Meet potential clients, deliver compelling pitches on service offerings, handle customer objections effectively, and build long-term trust for maintaining strong relationships with portfolio clients. - Collaborate with internal teams to guarantee seamless execution of transactions, resolve issues in ongoing operations, and ensure customer satisfaction. - Drive business growth by focusing on customer needs and market trends, managing multiple tasks/projects in a fast-paced environment, and serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support internal and external customers. - Utilize Sales Tools & Reporting tools such as CRM systems and internal databases to manage leads, pipeline, and reporting. Qualifications Required: - Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role within the logistics industry. - Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships. - Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and across departments to ensure successful execution of services. - Proficiency in utilizing Sales Tools & Reporting tools such as CRM systems and internal databases. - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
