Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
Data Management:
Accurately record transactions, maintain the general ledger, and reconcile bank accounts.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
Develop budgets, monitor expenses, and forecast financial performance.
Compliance & Tax:
Ensure adherence to financial regulations, compute taxes, and prepare tax returns.
Analysis & Advice:
Analyze financial data to identify risks, suggest cost-saving strategies, and support management decisions.
Audit Support:
Conduct internal audits and provide documentation for external audits.
Payroll:
Process payroll, review invoices, and manage accounts payable/receivable.

Essential Skills

Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP).
Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
High level of integrity and attention to detail.
Excellent communication for presenting financial info.

Typical Workflow (Frequency)

Daily:
Record transactions, monitor cash flow, process payments.
Weekly:
Process payroll, review invoices, prepare preliminary reports.
Monthly/Quarterly:
Compile statements, review budgets, update tax records, conduct audits.
Annually:
Prepare annual reports, file tax returns, strategic planning.
