Job Description:
Damani Education Foundation is seeking a dedicated and experienced Accounts Executive/Manager to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in accounting and finance, with at least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the education or service industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and manage day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, ledger management, and reconciliations
Preparation of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
Handling accounts payable and receivable
GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance filings
Coordinating with auditors during internal and external audits
Budgeting and expense tracking for various departments
Payroll processing and related statutory deductions
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
Assist in financial planning and analysis
Liaise with banks, vendors, and other external stakeholders
Bachelors degree in commerce, Accounting, or Finance (M. Com/CA Inter preferred)
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
Solid understanding of accounting principles and statutory requirements (GST, TDS, etc.)
Proficiency in Tally ERP / Tally Prime and MS Excel
Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Good communication skills (written and verbal)
