Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Account Assistant to join our finance team in India. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with various accounting functions.

Responsibilities

Assist in maintaining financial records and preparing financial statements
Handle accounts payable and receivable processes
Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts
Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow
Assist in the preparation of tax returns and financial reports
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting
Maintain organized financial files and documentation

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
2-4 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks)
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
Strong organizational and time management skills
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
