As a Sales Trainee at our Academic Business Unit in Kochi, Kerala, you will play a vital role in supporting the growth of ANSYS software in engineering colleges across South India. This position is perfect for freshers who aspire to establish a career in academic technical sales. **Responsibilities:** - Visit engineering colleges to present ANSYS Academic solutions - Collaborate with professors to define software requirements - Coordinate with the pre-sales team for conducting demos, workshops, FDPs, and tech days - Assist in lead generation and conversion activities - Ensure prompt coordination for software delivery, installation, and training - Maintain alignment with the OEM to enhance awareness and generate leads **Qualifications:** - Recently graduated in Engineering (any discipline) - Willingness to learn academic sales, cold calling, and lead generation - Ability to travel extensively (up to 70%) across Southern states of India - Strong communication and relationship-building capabilities - Interest in CAD/CAM/CAE software sales is advantageous - Exposure to MATLAB, CATIA, SolidWorks, or ANSYS during college would be beneficial - Previous internship in sales or education sector is preferred but not mandatory Start your journey in technical sales with hands-on experience, travel opportunities, and meaningful impact.
