We are seeking a dynamic and student-focused Academic Counselor to join our growing EdTech team specializing in Study Abroad programs. The ideal candidate will play a key role in guiding students through the application process, offering academic advice, and helping them achieve their overseas education goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Counsel students and parents regarding courses, universities, countries, and application processes for studying abroad.
- Handle student queries via calls, emails, WhatsApp, and in-person meetings.
- Follow up on leads and maintain a strong conversion ratio.
- Assist with admission paperwork, SOP guidance, and application documentation.
- Maintain accurate student records and update the CRM regularly.
- Build strong relationships with students and maintain regular contact throughout the counseling process.
- Stay updated with global education trends, visa processes, and university requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, documentation, visa, etc.) for seamless service delivery.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Education, Psychology, or Counseling preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in academic/student counseling, preferably in study abroad or EdTech.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Customer-focused attitude with a passion for helping students.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher
Pay: ₹15,000.00 per month
