Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Kolkata Area. As an Academic Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include providing personalized guidance to students, understanding their academic goals, and advising them on suitable educational and career opportunities. Duties also include assisting students in their decision-making process, organizing informational events, maintaining accurate records, and building strong relationships with students and their families. Collaboration with universities and other stakeholders to deliver effective support is a key aspect of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience in Student Counseling and Career Counseling
• Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Academic Advising and guiding students in education-related decisions
• Understanding of higher education systems and processes, with a focus on assisting students in pursuing their academic and career aspirations
• A bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or related field (master’s degree preferred)
• Empathy, active listening skills, and the ability to build rapport with students
