Location: Hazra Head Office (Kolkata) – with regular travel to Pathfinder centres
Salary Range: ₹13,000 – ₹18,000 per month

Position Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic Academic Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a student-focused mindset, and a genuine interest in helping students achieve academic success. You will be responsible for counseling students and parents, guiding them on course selection, career paths, and admission procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with students and parents to understand academic goals and challenges
• Guide students in selecting suitable courses, career paths, and educational programs
• Provide detailed information about admission procedures, exams, scholarships, and other academic opportunities
• Maintain accurate student records and follow up regularly on progress
• Coordinate with faculty and administrative teams to ensure smooth student experiences
• Organize seminars, workshops, and information sessions for student engagement
• Stay updated with current educational trends, entrance exams, and academic developments
• Meet counseling targets and maintain a high standard of service

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum Qualification: Graduation in any discipline
• Experience: At least 1 year of experience in academic counseling, student advisory, or a related field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic digital tools
• Empathetic, approachable, and student-focused mindset
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply
• Background in education, psychology, or counseling (added advantage)
• Familiarity with Indian and international academic systems
• Multilingual ability is a plus

Work Timings:

As per institutional hours, with flexibility based on session schedules and center visits.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
