Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Academic Counselor to join our overseas education consultancy team. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience in academic counseling, with a strong understanding of international education systems, admission procedures, and student guidance. You will play a key role in advising and assisting students with their applications to colleges and universities abroad.

Key Responsibilities:

Counsel students on study options in countries like the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Dubai and Europe.

Assess students’ academic background and career aspirations to recommend suitable courses and institutions.

Guide students through the entire admission process including application, documentation, and visa requirements.

Coordinate with universities and institutions to track applications and ensure timely updates.

Conduct seminars, webinars, and one-on-one counseling sessions to promote study abroad programs.

Maintain accurate student records and follow up regularly to ensure progress.

Stay updated on global education trends, scholarship opportunities, and admission deadlines.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or higher in any discipline (preferably in Education, Counseling, or a related field).

1 to 3 years of experience in academic or career counseling, preferably in the study abroad domain.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of international education systems, admission criteria, and visa processes.

Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred:

Prior experience in working with international universities or educational consultants.

Familiarity with standardized test scores such as IELTS, TOEFL, GRE, GMAT, etc.
