Academic Counselor

The Academic Counselor is responsible for guiding students in their educational journey by helping them understand academic requirements, choose appropriate courses, set career goals, and overcome academic challenges. The counselor plays a critical role in enhancing student success and retention. Provide individual and group counseling sessions to students on academic planning and career goals. Assist students in selecting courses and programs that align with their interests and academic/career aspirations. Monitor student progress and provide support for academic improvement and time management. Offer guidance on college/university admissions, entrance exams, scholarships, and vocational opportunities. Maintain accurate records of student interactions and progress. Collaborate with faculty, parents, and administrative staff to ensure students receive the support they need. Organize workshops and seminars on career planning, exam preparation, and personal development. Address academic-related issues such as low grades, lack of motivation, or learning difficulties. Stay up-to-date on educational trends, career pathways, and admission requirements.
