Academic Counselor

As an Academic Counselor at our company, you will be responsible for assisting students in shaping their careers overseas. Your role will involve assisting students in making important decisions about their career path and university. You will need to be available for students daily to address their concerns and follow up with universities and internal teams to ensure their application process runs smoothly. Key Responsibilities: - Play a proactive role in compiling a list of all documents required for application submission - Advise students on the university application procedures, visa application process, help students in applying for various scholarships and accommodation - Maintain accurate ledger and computer records of students counseled and applications sent to the specific country - Fill the online/paper applications and submit the application to overseas universities - Assist clients with SOP analysis and enhancements, LOR assistance, resume editing, and financial documentation support - Actively participate and contribute during education fairs, university visits, and in-house seminars organized by the company Qualifications Required: - Excellent command of spoken and written English as well as the local language - Be an attentive listener - A positive approach and the ability to work in a team - Well versed with MS Office (mainly Excel) Please note that female candidates are preferred for this position.
