Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Academic Counselor based in Gurugram. The individual will be responsible for providing academic counseling to students on available courses, guiding them in career planning, and assisting with academic decisions. The role involves working closely with students to understand their educational aspirations and supporting them in their learning journey. Additional tasks include maintaining student records, communicating effectively with students and parents, and fostering a supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

Proficient in Student Counseling and Career Counseling to guide students on academic and career paths efficiently.
Strong skills in Academic Advising to provide proper guidance on curriculum selection and progress tracking.
Excellent Communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and team members.
Background in Education to understand academic structures and support students effectively.
Empathy, active listening, and the ability to build rapport with students are key qualities for success in this role.
Prior experience in the education or ed-tech sector is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field is preferred.
