Hiring: Academic Counsellor

Location: Chennai – Finchartered Academy

Experience: 2 Years

Salary: 25,000/month

Finchartered Academy is a leading institute in professional finance education, dedicated to empowering students with the knowledge and skills they need to excel in their careers. We are looking for a motivated and persuasive Counsellor to join our Chennai team and help prospective students make the right decisions for their future.

Role Overview:

As a Counsellor at Finchartered Academy, you will be the first point of contact for prospective students. Your role will combine counselling, communication, and sales skills to guide students towards enrolling in our programs. You will play a key role in building trust, understanding student goals, and helping them take the next step in their professional journey.

Key Responsibilities:

Make outbound and receive inbound calls to prospective students.

Understand individual student requirements and provide personalized guidance on courses.

Convince and motivate prospective students to enroll in our programs.

Achieve monthly enrolment targets and KPIs.

Maintain accurate records of calls, enquiries, and follow-ups in the CRM system.

Build and maintain long-term relationships with students and their parents.

Collaborate with the admissions and marketing teams to improve conversion strategies.

Desired Skills and Attributes:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong persuasion, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Target-driven, proactive, and results-oriented approach.

Ability to handle objections confidently and close enrolments efficiently.

Prior experience in education counselling, admissions, or sales is highly preferred.

Qualifications:

Graduation in any discipline.

Certification in counselling or sales is a plus.
