Location: Kozhikode, Kerala
Working Hours: 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday-Saturday)

Role Summary

As an Academic Counselor, you will guide prospective students through their AEDP journey—from program selection to apprenticeship placement. You’ll be the primary point of contact, ensuring students make informed decisions aligned with their career goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Student Guidance:
• Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions (in-person/online) for AEDP aspirants.
• Explain program details, sector choices (Engineering, IT, Healthcare, Business), and apprenticeship benefits.
• Admission Support:
• Assist students with application processes, eligibility checks, and document submission.
• Coordinate entrance tests and interviews.
• Career Mapping:
• Align student interests with AEDP specializations and industry demands.
• Share placement trends, stipend insights, and success stories.
• Relationship Building:
• Collaborate with parents, colleges, and industry partners to address queries.
• Organize webinars/campus tours to showcase AEDP advantages.
• Target Achievement:
• Meet monthly enrollment targets through proactive follow-ups.
• Maintain CRM records of student interactions.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree (Any discipline).
• Experience:
• Freshers: Excellent communication, persuasion, and active listening skills.
• Experienced: 1+ years in education counseling, edutech sales, or university admissions.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in MS Office/CRM tools.
• Basic understanding of vocational education/NEP 2020 (training provided).
• Soft Skills:
• Empathetic, patient, and goal-oriented.
• Fluent in English + Malayalam (mandatory).
