Academic Advisor / Counselor

You will be working at Edwings Overseas Educational Consultants Pvt Ltd, a prominent organization specializing in overseas education consulting. Your primary role will involve guiding students to suitable academic opportunities in various countries like UK, USA, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand among others. Your responsibilities will include: - Counseling students and providing them with information on overseas education options. - Conducting personalized counseling sessions for students and their parents. - Assisting students in choosing appropriate courses, universities, and countries based on their individual profiles and aspirations. - Explaining the admission procedures, visa requirements, and necessary documentation. - Keeping yourself updated with the latest information on international education systems and opportunities. - Following up with leads through calls, emails, and walk-ins to convert inquiries into applications. - Collaborating with internal teams such as application, visa, and marketing departments to ensure smooth student service. - Tracking and managing student records and application progress using the CRM system. To be eligible for this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in student counseling for study-abroad programs. - In-depth knowledge of admission processes in at least 5 countries. - Proficiency in English with an additional regional language being an added advantage. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities. - Capability to efficiently address student queries and provide accurate information. - Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Additionally, as part of this full-time position, you will be entitled to paid time off. The work schedule will be during the day shift. A Bachelor's degree is preferred for this role, and prior experience of at least 1 year in educational counseling is required. Fluency in English is mandatory. The work location will be in person.,
