Job Description

Job Summary:

The Academic Administrator is responsible for managing and coordinating the academic and administrative functions of the institution. The role involves supporting academic departments, ensuring compliance with academic regulations, maintaining student records, and assisting in the implementation of institutional academic policies to ensure smooth academic operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate academic activities between departments, faculty, and administration.
  • Manage the preparation of academic schedules, timetables, and examination schedules.
  • Maintain and update student academic records and results.
  • Assist in the admission, registration, and examination processes.
  • Ensure compliance with university, UGC, AICTE, NCTE, PCI, or other regulatory bodies’ norms.
  • Prepare reports, minutes, and documentation for academic meetings and councils.
  • Support faculty in academic planning, curriculum development, and academic audits.
  • Supervise academic staff and ensure timely completion of administrative tasks.
  • Facilitate student-related academic services, including transcripts, certificates, and grade reports.
  • Assist in organizing academic events such as workshops, seminars, and conferences.
  • Liaise with external academic and regulatory authorities when required.
  • Maintain confidentiality of academic data and ensure institutional integrity.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s Degree in Education, Administration, or any relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in academic or administrative roles in a university or educational institution.
  • Knowledge of academic regulations, university systems, and accreditation processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and academic management software (ERP preferred).

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
