Job Description

Job Title: Ab Initio Developer

Experience:

Ab Initio Developer /Leads

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using
Ab Initio
.
Develop and optimize complex
SQL queries
on relational databases such as
Oracle, Teradata, or SQL Server
.
Implement data warehousing solutions including
ETL, data integration, and dimensional modeling
.
Monitor, schedule, and troubleshoot batch jobs using scheduling tools like
Control-M or Autosys
.
Work with
Unix/Linux scripting
for automation and operational support.
Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and QA teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
Participate in
Agile/Scrum
ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Perform data validation, performance tuning, and issue resolution.
Maintain version control and follow development best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

3+ years of hands-on experience in
Ab Initio development
.
Strong experience with
SQL
and relational databases (Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server).
Solid understanding of
data warehousing concepts
, ETL processes, and dimensional modeling.
Experience with
job scheduling tools
(Control-M, Autosys).
Good knowledge of
Unix/Linux scripting
.
Familiarity with
version control systems
.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in
Agile/Scrum
environments.
Exposure to large-scale enterprise data platforms.
