Job Description

SAP ABAP Workflow Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

Workflow Design & Development

Create and customize SAP workflows based on business requirements.
Implement workflow templates, tasks, events, and rules using ABAP and SAP Workflow tools.

Technical Integration

Work with ALE/IDOC, BAPI, BADI, and other integration technologies to ensure seamless data flow.
Support third-party system integrations and SAP module enhancements.

Troubleshooting & Optimization

Monitor and debug existing workflows to ensure smooth operation.
Enhance workflows to improve performance and user experience.

Collaboration & Consulting

Partner with functional consultants and business stakeholders to gather requirements.
Translate functional specifications into technical designs and solutions.

Documentation & Support

Prepare technical documentation for workflows, procedures, and updates.
Provide post-implementation support and training to end users.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development with a focus on workflows.
Strong understanding of SAP Workflow architecture and design principles.
Proficiency in ABAP objects, OOPS ABAP, Smart Forms, BDC, and Module Pool programming.
Experience with SAP modules like SD, MM, HR is a plus.

Preferred Attributes:

Knowledge of Web Dynpro and Fiori applications.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
