ABAP Developer

Scope of the role:

The ABAP Developer is responsible for the successful execution of projects and supporting business users that affect Aligns finances using SAP ecosystem. This hands-on position requires deep technical & application knowledge and the ability to work with project team members across multiple geographies. The candidate should have the experience and ability to support solution implementation in SAP Products (ECC 6.0; ABAP) with the ability to build best-in-class solutions. Candidate should also ensure the design and development of systems meet the specifications and requirements of the Organizations overall business needs.

Main Responsibility and Activities:

• Working on multiple projects as a project team member.
• Developing application specifications. Making recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code.
• Derivation and development of technical concepts from functional concepts.
• Support and analysis of bugs and their elimination in the context of the incident and problem management.
• Adhering to quality standards and procedures. Reviewing modules for quality assurance and checking compliance with application architecture standards.

Education Qualification & Skills Required:

• Technical degree in Engineering or equivalent experience required, Master is a plus.

• Minimum 5 years of ABAP experience

• SAP ECC 6.0 and SAP S/4 knowledge • Programming experience in SAP modules such as SD, FI, PP, LE, MM, CO

• Confident communication with business partners.

• Fluent in written and spoken English.

• Excellent analytical skills.

• Strong service thinking skills and service orientation.

• Flexibility and good interpersonal skills.

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Knowledge on SAP authorizations and Basis is an advantage
