We are looking for experienced, motivated, and hardworking individuals to join our Company’s Transportation Safety and Compliance Sector to promote high standards in Safety and Compliance in Trucking Industry in Canada & USA. DUTIES: Responsible for Driver Hours of Service (HOS) from ELD logs and driver files and qualifications to ensure accuracy and compliance. Perform audits and/or monitoring to ensure policy and procedure compliance. Oversee the fleet and driver files to ensure compliance. Assisting claim management through insurance Support the incident investigation process upon occurrence of work-related incidents Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management and the customer. Manage the CVOR events. Compliance Monitoring. Data entry of Driver Qualification Files. Date entry for Fleet maintenance records. Report and schedule follow-up with drivers on any violations, tickets, accidents, injuries, claims and other incidents as they occur. Work with other departments to improve driver retention and handle driver complaints Order Driver Abstracts for Annual Reviews Evaluate Driver Fuel, Border crossing. Update records and provide reports as required. Assist with recruiting department to ensure quality of drivers being brought on. Be the first point of contact for all accidents/incidents and work with insurance company from start to finish. Ability to be on call to handle emergency situations Set up and Maintain Master Records of Trucks, Trailers and Drivers through our ZOHO CRM and other applications/software. Assist with other Safety and Compliance functions as required Requirements/ Eligibility: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Punjabi Second Languages Always an Asset Knowledge of Hours or Service and MTO and DOT regulations is a plus Keen attention to detail, good time management and organizational skills Computer proficiency – Excellent computer knowledge – Zoho CRM, Word, Excel, Outlook, PDF, and PowerPoint Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Job Summary: We are hiring an Assistant Accountant based in India to support our Canada-based accounting and operations team, as well as assist with Indian accounting compliance. The ideal candidate should have experience in customer invoicing, GST/HST (Canada & India), payroll assistance, and working knowledge of Zoho Books/Zoho CRM. The candidate will also assist our Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary with statutory filings. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and send customer invoices as per Canadian tax guidelines. Follow up with clients for outstanding payments. Assist with Canada payroll processing, deductions, and records. File and reconcile GST/HST returns for Canada (monthly/quarterly). File GST returns with the Indian tax department for our India entity. Maintain accounting records in Zoho Books. Reconcile bank statements, create journal entries, and perform daily bookkeeping. Assist our Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary with annual compliance and year-end financials. Support in CRA compliance, year-end closing, and audit preparation. Track accounting tasks and documentation using Zoho CRM and internal tools. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Finance/Accounting. 2+ years of accounting experience (exposure to Canadian accounting is a plus). Knowledge of GST/HST (India and Canada), basic CRA payroll practices. Proficiency in Zoho Books, Zoho CRM, and MS Excel. Good written and verbal communication in English. Ability to work during Canada business hours (Evening/Night IST). Preferred Skills: Experience supporting transport/trucking or logistics companies in Canada. Understanding of T4 slips, ROE, and Canadian payroll cycle. Familiarity with Indian TDS, ROC filings, and coordination with CA/CS.
