Job Description

As a well-established commercial trucking consulting company operating in Canada and the USA, we are seeking an experienced, motivated, and hardworking individual to join our Ludhiana team. Your role will involve promoting high standards in Safety and Compliance within the Trucking Industry in both countries. **Key Responsibilities:** - Work closely with a team of approximately five to ten individuals. - Ensure compliance with US FMCSA/DOT and Canadian national safety code regulations, as well as requirements by province. - Oversee fleet and driver files to ensure compliance with regulations. - Manage the qualification renewal process and assist with claim management through insurance. - Support the driver hiring process to ensure regulatory and company qualifications are met. - Manage driver Hours of Service (HOS) from ELD logs and driver files to ensure accuracy and compliance. - Conduct audits and monitoring to ensure policy and procedure compliance. - Support incident investigation processes and prepare reports for upper management and customers. - Manage CVOR events and monitor Driver Qualification Files. - Report and schedule follow-ups with drivers on violations, tickets, accidents, injuries, claims, and other incidents. - Work with other departments to improve driver retention and handle driver complaints. - Manage licensing of all commercial trucks and trailers, including annual renewals and other permits. - Update records and provide reports as necessary. - Assist with recruiting departments to ensure quality employees are hired. - Be available on call to handle emergency situations. - Review Operating Authority Binders with new Owner Operators. - Maintain and update Truck Operating Authority Binders. - Assist with other Safety and Compliance functions as required. **Qualifications Required:** - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Knowledge of Hours of Service and MTO/DOT regulations. - Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills. - Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, PDF, and PowerPoint. - Familiarity with Samsara and related software is a plus. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. - Database management skills are essential. - Willingness to work some weekends if necessary. - Experience with other trucking companies is advantageous. - General understanding of North American regions. This is a full-time, permanent position with the following schedule options: - Evening shift - Fixed shift - Monday to Friday - Night shift - Weekend availability **Education:** - Bachelor's degree preferred **Experience:** - 2 years of experience with transportation management systems required **Language Skills:** - Proficiency in English and Punjabi required **Shift Availability:** - Night Shift and Overnight Shift required This position requires in-person work and does not offer remote work opportunities.,
