The Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, financial record-keeping, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role will involve working closely with the finance team, using QuickBooks for bookkeeping, financial reporting, and ensuring accuracy in all transactions. Role & responsibilities 1. General Accounting: Maintain and record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. Ensure accurate and timely postings in QuickBooks. Assist in the preparation of financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, etc.). 2. Bookkeeping and Reconciliation : Perform bank reconciliations and reconciliation of general ledger accounts. Ensure proper categorization of expenses and income in QuickBooks. 3. Financial Reporting : Prepare periodic financial reports for management, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. 4. Accounts Payable and Receivable : Manage vendor payments, and ensure timely processing of invoices. Generate and issue customer invoices and manage collections. Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on payments. 5. Tax Compliance : Assist in the preparation and filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns. Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and liaise with auditors as necessary. 6. Budgeting and Forecasting : Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor budget variances and report to management. 7. Audit Support : Assist in internal and external audits by preparing relevant documentation and providing necessary financial data. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal control procedures. 8. QuickBooks Expertise : Maintain proficiency in QuickBooks operations, including creating reports, customizing workflows, and maintaining data accuracy. Provide support in troubleshooting any QuickBooks-related issues. 9. Process Improvement : Suggest and implement process improvements to streamline accounting workflows. Stay updated on new accounting software features and industry best practices. Desired Profile: Education : M.Com or B.Com from a recognized institute Experience : 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably with experience in QuickBooks. Software Skills : Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel. Technical Knowledge : Knowledge of accounting principles, standards (GAAP or IFRS), and tax laws. Experience in accounting practices in USA Desired Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
