We're now looking for a Rendering Artist Manager to lead our visual design team in creating photo-realistic jewellery renders that elevate the Palmonas brand experience across catalogues, e-commerce, and social media.

Role Purpose

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership:

• Manage, mentor, and guide the rendering team (artists, retouchers, and visualizers) to deliver consistent, high-quality outputs.

• Rendering & Visualization:

• Create realistic renders of jewellery (rings, necklaces, earrings, bangles, bracelets) with accurate representation of metals, stones, textures, and finishes.

• Material & Light Simulation:

• Ensure precise material simulation for gold, silver, platinum, LGD, and gemstones; optimize lighting, reflections, and shadows for visual depth.

• Process Optimization:

• Build a robust rendering pipeline from CAD to final output reducing turnaround time while improving quality and consistency.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with the design, CAD, marketing, and photography teams to ensure rendered visuals meet campaign and e-commerce needs.

• Quality Control:

• Review all outputs for realism, proportion accuracy, and brand alignment before publishing.

• Innovation & R&D:

• Explore and implement emerging rendering technologies (AR, VR, 360 product visualization) to enhance customer experience.

Requirements

• Education:

  Bachelor's or Master's degree in 3D Design, Visual Arts, Animation, or related field.

• Experience:

  5+ years of experience in 3D jewellery rendering, visualization, or CGI, with at least 2 years in a lead or managerial capacity.

• Technical Expertise:

• Proficiency in

  KeyShot, Rhino, Blender, Maya, or Cinema4D

  ; strong understanding of

  V-Ray, Corona Renderer, or similar engines

  .
• Knowledge of metal and gemstone properties, lighting setup, and post-production workflows (Photoshop, Lightroom).

• Soft Skills:

• Creative eye for detail, strong team leadership, process-oriented mindset, and ability to handle multiple concurrent projects.
