As a 2D & 3D Motion Designer specializing in Blender and After Effects, you will play a crucial role in creating high-end product visualizations for Frido. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, from conceptualizing and executing photorealistic 3D animations to designing and animating 2D overlays and typography. Your expertise in Blender will be utilized for hard-surface rigging and building mechanical rigs, while your skills in Adobe After Effects will be essential for motion graphics and compositing. Your role will also involve leading the visual aesthetic of projects through art direction and post-production tasks. Key Responsibilities: - Conceptualize and execute photorealistic 3D animations showcasing product features and mechanical movements. - Design and animate high-end 2D overlays and typography in Adobe After Effects to complement 3D renders. - Build robust, non-deforming rigs for mechanical products using Blender's constraints and drivers. - Lead the visual aesthetic of each project by creating mood boards, style frames, and color palettes. - Use After Effects for compositing 3D passes and performing color grading. - Utilize Blender Geometry Nodes for procedural scattering, motion graphics arrays, or non-destructive environment building. Technical Requirements: - Expert proficiency in Blender for modeling, look-dev, and animation. - Intermediate skills in Adobe After Effects for motion design. - Understanding of topology for mechanical objects and rigging without mesh distortion. - Ability to build custom node groups using Blender Geometry Nodes. - Expert knowledge of PBR workflows and studio lighting setups for luxury products. - Ability to optimize scenes and render times for high-resolution output. Good to Have: - Basic understanding of cameras, lighting, and real-world production. - Experience with D2C brands, UGC content, or product launch videos. - Familiarity with social media-first content formats.
