Key Responsibilities

• Develop accurate 3D models using

  AVEVA E3D

  and related software.
• Audit 3D models from 3rd-party vendors for correctness and adherence to company standards.
  
• Guide clients and stakeholders in defining and documenting 3D modeling expectations for large-scale projects.
  
• Support and guide multi-disciplinary design teams on modeling issues.
  
• Create macros using

  PML/PML II

  to automate modeling and data extraction tasks.
• Configure project-specific setups: clash management, report customization, MDS customization, catalog/specification building, etc.
  
• Run clash detection and generate reports.
  
• Integrate data from multiple sources to create

  intelligent digital twins

  .
• Upload and extract attributes programmatically for data validation.
  
• Troubleshoot and update existing 3D models to ensure compliance and completeness.
  
• Generate key deliverables such as

  MTOs, piping isometrics, line lists, equipment lists, and weight reports

  .
• Prepare and maintain

  3D modeling guidelines, specifications, and lessons learned

  .
• Administer

  AVEVA E3D/PDMS databases

  (creation, import/export, cleanup, merging).
• Manage user access, catalog creation, and database setups for multi-company collaboration.
  
• Create catalogs based on vendor data for piping, equipment, structural, and E&I elements.
  
• Coordinate with systems leads to set up and back up global projects.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years

  of experience as a

  3D CAD Administrator/Designer

  .
• Strong knowledge of

  plant layout, piping design, and piping materials

  .
• Familiarity with

  instrumentation, mechanical systems, HVAC, electrical, and civil/structural components

  .
