3D Graphics & Animation Programmer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for coordinating with 3D artists to import avatar models (Blender/CC/VRoid) into the runtime pipeline, ensuring correct rigs, animations, mouth/eye movement, shadows, and lighting. You will also develop and integrate an avatar skin-selection mechanism, implement lip-sync and facial animations, optimize performance for curved OLED display, build tools/scripts for exporting avatar assets, work on avatar picker UI, and implement shadow/lighting behavior for avatars. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate with 3D artists to import avatar models into the runtime pipeline - Develop and integrate an avatar skin-selection mechanism - Implement lip-sync and simple facial/mouth animations tied to voice output - Optimize performance for curved OLED display - Build tooling/scripts to export avatar assets to the product build pipeline - Work with UI/App developer for avatar picker UI and state changes - Implement shadow/lighting behavior for avatars - Collaborate with device & connectivity team for avatar asset downloads and versioning - Define test cases for avatar skins, performance, memory load, and asset updates - Maintain documentation for the avatar pipeline Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, Animation, or related field - 3+ years of experience in 3D programming or game/graphics development - Strong proficiency with Blender, Character Creator, VRoid Studio, Unity/Unreal, or equivalent - Experience in rigging, skinning, lip-sync animations, and 3D asset pipelines - Experience with embedded graphics/low-resource platforms or handheld/IoT graphics rendering - Good programming skills in C/C++/C#, or similar languages for graphics - Familiarity with mobile or embedded display constraints - Experience with asset versioning, remote asset loading, and performance profiling - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Good communication skills and ability to prepare documentation for non-animation team members,
