3D Generalist

As a 3D Artist at Capermint Technologies, you will play a crucial role in developing high-quality mobile and PC games by utilizing your expertise in 3D modeling, texturing, rigging, and animation. Your responsibilities will include: - Creating high-quality 3D models of characters, props, and environments. - Designing and applying realistic and stylized textures using Substance Painter and Photoshop. - Rigging and animating characters, creatures, and objects for gameplay and cinematics. - Optimizing 3D assets for performance on mobile and PC platforms. - Implementing lighting and lightbaking for immersive environments. - Collaborating with game designers, developers, and other artists to maintain artistic consistency and technical efficiency. - Importing and setting up assets within Unity and Unreal Engine. - Troubleshooting and refining assets to ensure smooth performance and visual fidelity. To qualify for this role, you should meet the following requirements: - Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a 3D Artist in the gaming industry. - Proficiency in Blender, Substance Painter, Photoshop, and ZBrush. - Strong knowledge of character modeling, rigging, and animation workflows. - Experience with Unity and/or Unreal Engine for asset integration. - Understanding of game optimization techniques for mobile and PC. - Solid grasp of lighting, lightbaking, and shading for real-time engines. - Strong artistic sense with attention to detail, scale, and proportion. - Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Nice-to-have skills include experience with particle systems and VFX in Unity/Unreal, knowledge of PBR workflows and shader creation, as well as familiarity with pipeline automation and version control tools like Git and Perforce.
