3D Generalist

As a 3D Artist at Capermint Technologies, your role will involve creating high-quality 3D models, designing textures, rigging, animating characters, and optimizing assets for mobile and PC games. You will collaborate with game designers, developers, and other artists to ensure artistic consistency and technical efficiency in Unity and Unreal Engine. **Key Responsibilities:** - Create high-quality 3D models of characters, props, and environments. - Design and apply realistic and stylized textures using Substance Painter and Photoshop. - Rig and animate characters, creatures, and objects for gameplay and cinematics. - Optimize 3D assets for performance on mobile and PC platforms. - Implement lighting and lightbaking for immersive environments. - Collaborate with team members to maintain artistic consistency and technical efficiency. - Import and set up assets within Unity and Unreal Engine. - Troubleshoot and refine assets for smooth performance and visual fidelity. **Qualifications Required:** - Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a 3D Artist in the gaming industry. - Proficiency in Blender, Substance Painter, Photoshop, and ZBrush. - Strong knowledge of character modeling, rigging, and animation workflows. - Experience with Unity and/or Unreal Engine for asset integration. - Understanding of game optimization techniques for mobile and PC. - Solid grasp of lighting, lightbaking, and shading for real-time engines. - Strong artistic sense with attention to detail, scale, and proportion. - Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. In addition, it would be nice to have experience with particle systems and VFX in Unity/Unreal, knowledge of PBR workflows and shader creation, and familiarity with pipeline automation and version control tools (e.g., Git, Perforce).,
