Primary focus:Create precise models of customer products within the agreed time frame, based on technical drawings or the actual productsCreate Photo realistic rendersOptimize digital files before sending it to client for reviewStrong understanding on how to accentuate the form of the products using lights and shadowsUnderstanding UV sets and mapsPerform daily tasks while following 2D & 3D CGI workflows & processesRe-topologize raw 3D modelsCreate materials and textures, and set-up lights to produce photorealistic or stylized materials / shadersProvide technical assistance to the team when neededServe as the team’s Creative QCSupporting tasksIf needed, attend client meetings, calibration meetings and briefingComplete any adhoc tasks as assigned by the 3D LeadFollow company protocols with regards to job delivery and completion through MySGSPerforms other duties as assigned by the Company from time to timePerformance ManagementOn-time deliveryRight-The-First-Time (RTFT)Ability to render a model as per Client needs, which could be in terms of customer satisfaction rate or no. of amendment at SGS cost against no. of jobs performed by that artistMinimum of 85% unitilisation or productive hours on averageTechnical Skills:High proficiency in Autodesk MayaHigh proficiency in V-Ray lights and materials/shaderExtensive knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator CS6 or aboveDemonstrate a breadth of competence in 3D forms, from mechanical design to organic objects, from photo-real to stylizeCapable of creating any consumer product in 3D software which involves hard-surface and organic modelling, texturing, lighting, rendering and compositing;Knowledge in the fundamentals and basic principles of colours, lights, and shadesUnderstanding of a 3D production pipelineSolid sense of three-dimensional design and attention to detail in organic and mechanical surfacesKnowledge of how a well-modeled object will react to light and reflection in a realistic and appealing wayKnowledge and fluency in other lighting software and processesTexture painting ability a plusSolid art background a plusBeneficial knowledge on Esko, ArtiosCAD, XML file formats, Sculpting, and 3DS Max;
