Job Description:

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-performance backend services using Node.js and NestJS in a modular, scalable architecture.
  • Work in AI-powered development environments (e.g., Cursor, Copilot, Codeium) to increase velocity and quality.
  • Use prompt-based coding techniques to generate, refactor, or optimize code with AI assistance.
  • Build APIs, services, and features that align with AI-first development strategy.
  • Collaborate with product, AI, and frontend teams to bring intelligent workflows into enterprise-grade platforms.
  • Ensure code quality, performance, and security using modern testing and DevOps practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of backend development experience in Node.js with NestJS.
  • Strong understanding of prompt engineering and prompt-based solution development.
  • Proven ability to integrate AI features like NLP, classification, automation, and smart decisioning via APIs.
  • Familiarity with RESTful services, microservices architecture, and scalable backend systems.
  • Experience working in enterprise-level development environments with code modularity and architecture ownership.
  • Strong debugging, refactoring, and performance optimization skills.

Preferred:

  • Hands-on experience using AI development tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or ChatGPT for day-to-day coding.
  • Experience with TypeScript end-to-end.
  • Knowledge of GraphQL, WebSockets, and background job queues.
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and Docker.
