Z ASST SOCCER GIRLS

As an Assistant Soccer Girls Coach at Satellite High School, you will be responsible for coaching and mentoring female student-athletes in the sport of soccer. This part-time position requires individuals to be at least twenty-one (21) years old. You will play a crucial role in developing the skills and teamwork of the girls" soccer team. To qualify for this role, you must hold a BA/BS degree from a regionally accredited program or university. Additionally, you need to possess a Florida Athletic Coaching Certification, either a Professional 5 Year or Temporary 3 Year Athletic Coaching Certificate issued by the State of Florida Department of Education. If you do not already have the certification, you must be eligible and willing to apply for it upon receiving the job offer. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two (2) years of documented coaching experience in the specific sport of soccer at the secondary level. It is essential to have a deep understanding of the sport at the competitive level and demonstrate strong leadership skills in managing groups of student-athletes. Preference will be given to candidates with three (3) to five (5) years of coaching experience at the varsity or junior varsity level. Please note that temporary Athletic Coaching Certificates cannot be renewed in the state of Florida. If you are selected for this position, you will be required to complete additional certifications in Sports Specific, Sports Medicine, and Sports Theory, as well as hold a valid CPR card to obtain a five-year (Professional) Athletic Coaching Certificate from the Florida Department of Education. This is a community coaching position with a focus on instructing and supporting the girls" soccer team at Satellite High School.
