Role Overview: As a member of the manufacturing team in the Life Sciences sector located at DALC in Navi Mumbai, your primary responsibility will be to ensure manufacturing processes are conducted according to standard operating procedures (SOP) and projects are completed in a timely manner. You will be involved in planning and executing product manufacturing, reviewing and monitoring manufacturing activities, ensuring GMP compliance, validation, and audit readiness. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and execute product manufacturing by facilitating operation and changeover of process systems, debottlenecking process hurdles, and coordinating with the operation team, QAD, and supporting functions. - Focus on plant goals to achieve expected products and batch yield, monitor the manufacturing schedule for proper utilization of process units and utilities. - Have hands-on experience with bioreactors, chromatography, TFF, and CIP systems, with exposure to DCS control system being preferable. - Conduct scale-up and scale-down processing of upstream and downstream processes, including operations such as seed bioreactors, production bioreactors, media and buffer preparation, centrifugation, microfiltration, and ultrafiltration skid systems. - Review and monitor manufacturing activities to ensure adherence to SOPs, guidelines, and GMP standards, including proper documentation practices. - Supervise, coach, and train employees to meet performance expectations and ensure GMP compliance, validation, and audit readiness by coordinating and supporting calibration, maintenance, and qualification activities. Qualification Required: - Education: Graduate or Postgraduate in Science, or B.E in biotech engineering. - Experience: Minimum 0-1 years of relevant experience, with demonstrated ability to supervise, lead, and build relationships at all levels within the company.
