As a Development Consultant (XStore), your role involves providing software technical product knowledge and retail industry expertise to support the enhancement of Stores projects, particularly focusing on XStore/Micros/Stores functions. Key Responsibilities: - Review information systems to identify infrastructure solutions - Design and implement applications and enhancements using JAVA code - Maintain and update applications based on client requests - Define and implement regression test suites - Analyze and define client requirements for data conversion, interface, and application enhancements - Translate business needs into technical solutions - Monitor systems support and development in a Micros environment - Mentor consultants and contribute to application enhancements - Assist in resolving application issues and supporting the production environment - Define implementation and integration options - Perform assessments prior to system go-live - Provide knowledge transfer to third-party vendors related to Oracle Retail and OLR applications Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field OR 3+ years of relevant experience - Previous experience with Micros/Stores/POS implementation - 2+ years of development and/or systems integration experience preferred - 2+ years in the Retail industry or a related field preferred - Prior consulting experience is a plus Please note the additional details of the company were not provided in the job description.,
