As an FPGA Programmer at Electrify Services, you will be a vital part of our team, contributing to the advancement of our client's products and the overall growth of the company. Your responsibilities will include developing FPGA systems through designing architecture, coding, simulation, and testing. You will be tasked with debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving FPGA-related issues across various projects. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to create and maintain documentation of FPGA designs will be a crucial aspect of your role. Additionally, you will implement and verify high-performance and reliable FPGA designs, incorporating DSP technology into next-generation video products. Working in a System Verilog/UVM environment, you will be responsible for generating FPGA verification plans, verification matrices, and creating verification environments for testing. Your duties will also involve designing and implementing ARM AXI switches and DMAs between processors and FPGA subsystems, collaborating closely with the RF team to provide LTE test waveforms, and capturing requirements for ASIC/FPGA digital architecture and design. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in FPGA Design & Development. Proficiency in hardware description languages like Verilog or VHDL is required, and familiarity with electronics design tools such as Orcad or Altium is advantageous. Experience with Xilinx FPGAs, DSP, and software-defined radios is a plus, as well as knowledge of FPGA-based system architectures, digital design principles, and RTL hardware design flow. Furthermore, you will need expertise in communication protocols, ARM assembly, and Xilinx/RVDS/DS-5 SoC ARM-based devices. Strong knowledge of microprocessor environment development and scripting languages like Perl and TCL is essential.
