The ideal candidate should possess strong market knowledge, vendor generation skills, and proven expertise in leading a sales team. The role involves extensive travel across the state and strategizing to boost revenue and market presence. Key Responsibilities: Handle end-to-end sales operations within the assigned state. Develop and execute state-specific sales strategies aligned with company objectives. Identify and onboard new vendors, distributors, and corporate clients. Maintain strong knowledge of current market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences. Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets. Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, vendors, and channel partners. Coordinate with marketing, purchase, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations. Conduct market visits and client meetings regularly, with travel across the state as required. Prepare and present monthly sales reports, forecasts, and performance reviews. Ensure timely collections and support in resolving client issues or escalations. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred). Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably in corporate gifting or electrical appliances. Proven experience in state-level sales management and team leadership. Strong knowledge of market trends, pricing, and vendor ecosystems. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Willingness to travel extensively within the state.
