Responsible for providing care to patients undergoing normal and special radiography, ultrasound, and E.
C.G investigations. Duties include billing verification, cross-checking patient name, O.P. No., and procedure type, registering patient details, and obtaining signatures upon report handover. Handles booking of procedures such as IVP, Ba. Meal, Ba. Enema, HSG, Follicular/Ovulation study, TIIFA study, and Colour Doppler Ultrasound. Ensures confidentiality of patient information, checks expiry of films, contrast media, and emergency medicines, maintains x-ray, USG, ECG, and computer equipment, cleans and replaces cassettes/screens, uses lead glass, gloves, apron, and protections, and instructs patients on preparation and reporting time.
