X-Ray Technician

Role Overview: As an X-Ray Technician at our Diagnostic Centre, you will play a crucial role in performing diagnostic radiographic procedures with precision and care. Your responsibilities will include operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining safety standards to deliver high-quality diagnostic images. Key Responsibilities: - Perform X-ray imaging procedures accurately and efficiently, including specialized types of X-rays. - Prepare patients for imaging exams, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort throughout the process. - Maintain patient records meticulously and ensure that all images produced are of high diagnostic quality. - Adhere strictly to safety protocols and infection control standards to prioritize patient and staff well-being. - Collaborate closely with healthcare providers to deliver optimal patient care and support multidisciplinary teamwork. Qualification Required: - Minimum of 2 years of experience conducting X-Rays in field and hospital settings as an X-Ray Technician. - Possession of a valid X-Ray Technician certification. - Strong knowledge of radiographic techniques and equipment to perform imaging procedures effectively. - Excellent communication and patient care skills to interact professionally with patients and healthcare teams. - Ability to prepare the X-Ray examination room and equipment according to patient requirements. - Proficiency in positioning patients correctly for X-Ray procedures to capture accurate images. - Skilled in operating X-ray machines following defined procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort. - Capable of answering patient questions related to the X-ray procedure and providing necessary information. - Diligently maintain records of patient care in adherence to outlined policies and procedures.
