We are looking for a skilled X-Ray Technician to join our Diagnostic Centre. You should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in conducting diagnostic radiographic procedures, including specialized X-rays. Your responsibilities will include operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining safety standards. As an X-Ray Technician, you will be required to perform X-ray imaging procedures accurately and efficiently, including specialized types of X-rays. You will also be responsible for preparing patients for imaging exams, explaining procedures, maintaining patient records, and ensuring high diagnostic quality of images. Adherence to safety protocols and infection control standards is essential, along with collaborating with healthcare providers to deliver optimal patient care. Requirements: - Minimum of 2 years of experience as an X-Ray Technician in the field and hospital setting - Valid X-Ray Technician certification - Strong knowledge of radiographic techniques and equipment - Excellent communication and patient care skills - Ability to prepare X-Ray examination room and equipment as per patient requirements - Position patients correctly for X-Ray procedures - Operate x-ray machines following defined procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort - Answer patient questions related to the procedure - Maintain patient care records in accordance with outlined policies and procedures Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree - B.Sc.
