Job Description

Responsibilities

Operate X-ray equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation.

Prepare and position patients for X-ray procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.

Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care and ensure accurate diagnostic results.

Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures according to departmental protocols.

Ensure strict adherence to safety and infection control standards to prevent unnecessary radiation exposure.

Regularly inspect and maintain X-ray equipment to ensure effective operation and report any malfunctions.

Educate patients about the procedures to alleviate any concerns and ensure their understanding.
Required Qualifications

Certification from an accredited radiologic technology program.

Valid state licensure or certification as an X-ray Technician.

Proven experience operating X-ray equipment and handling diagnostic procedures.

Strong understanding of radiographic positioning and techniques.

Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow precise instructions.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction.
