X-Ray Technician

Role Overview: As an X-Ray Technician at Reach Surgical Pharma in Pallavaram, Chennai, your primary responsibility will be to verify patients" identity and review physicians" orders before conducting x-ray procedures. You will utilize x-ray equipment to capture radiographic images of patients" bones, tissues, and organs based on physicians" written instructions. It is essential to explain x-ray procedures to patients, address their inquiries, and position them correctly, including assisting patients with limited mobility. Your role also involves minimizing patients" radiation exposure by using lead shields when necessary and ensuring the quality of x-rays to avoid repeat procedures. You will collaborate closely with the resident Radiologist to evaluate the need for further tests and maintain accurate records of completed x-ray procedures. Regular servicing and maintenance of x-ray equipment, as well as prompt reporting of any damage or malfunctions to the management, are crucial aspects of your responsibilities.
