Roles and Responsibilities Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans, ultrasounds, and radiography to produce images of the body's internal structures. Prepare patients for exams by explaining procedures and positioning them correctly. Operate equipment safely and efficiently to obtain high-quality images. Assist radiologists in interpreting results and providing patient care during examinations. Maintain accurate records of patient data and test results. Desired Candidate Profile 1-3 years of experience as a Radiographer. B.Sc degree in Radiology or Diploma in Other Specialization required. Strong knowledge of radiology principles and practices including CT scan, MRI, USG & X-Ray techniques.

Handling of the ultraportable X-ray machine unit. The unit including generator, detector, CAD software, lead aprons (if available), frames etc will be transported in a compact bag to and from camp locations to its stationing facility. Maintenance, transportation, and safekeeping of the unit will be the responsibility of the radiographer Handling queries from patients and offering pre-procedure guidance Using radiographic equipment, including surgical and portable equipment, to do x-rays, and labelling them appropriately Monitoring the radiographic equipment and supplies and ensuring there are sufficient supplies by submitting purchase requests proactively Maintaining stock register for the camp Ensuring the maintenance of X-ray machines and other related equipment. Coordinating with relevant stakeholders for AMC and any corrective/ preventive maintenance required Documenting, recording, and storage of patient data Performing end of day tasks and reporting Holding all patient Protected Health Information (PHI), other patients personal information and agency information in confidence, in accordance with the Employee Confidentiality Statement Support project team in organizing camps at project site and mobilizing communities for X-ray screening Undertaking any other job assigned by the project team. Specifications Graduate with diploma in X-Ray technician from Government authorized college/university with minimum 3 years of experience in managing portable/ X-ray machines Proficient in MS Office with a strong command of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience working with National health programs/ community settings will be advantageous. Willing to travel extensively in the field. Local candidate having fluency in Regional Language is non-negotiable.
