Workiva application currently aids in financial reporting
within client financial and reporting functions. It facilitates
the preparation of financial statements for more than 150
entities (LPs). It also supports the preparation of investor
reports and other financial reports. The applicant will be
responsible for collaborating with teams to develop
solutions. He/she will design, implement and maintain high-
quality codes, ensure scalability, performance and
maintainability. Participate in code reviews and provide
feedback. Explore techniques to continually enhance
processes.
Job Requirements:
Domain skills:
1. 5-7 years of experience with at least two years in
consolidation systems development and support,
encompassing all aspects of the solution (including
business rules, metadata, security configuration, cube
views, dashboards and workflows).
2. Strong coding skills in Workiva, VBA or vb.net, with
experience of developing business rules. Knowledge of
SQL would be an advantage.
3. Experience of operating in a tightly controlled
environment - working closely with audit (both internal
and external), and ideally with a good understanding of
compliance requirements.
4. Understanding and practical experience of finance
processes and the conversion of business requirements

Key Responsibilities:
All aspects of operational support and development, including (but not
limited to):
1. Create new report templates and/or modify and improve on
existing templates in Workiva
2. Maintain user documentation, including training materials and
user guides.
3. Deliver ad-hoc end-user training.
4. Provide additional guidance to users to resolve issues arising from
a gap in user knowledge / understanding.
5. Provide support for data import related queries - e.g. establishing
and explaining the data lineage of data points within the
application.
6. Configure confirmation rule tolerances and settings
7. Manage automated data integration processes - e.g. starting and
stopping folder polling operations or reviewing the status of loads,
resolving issues
8. Liaise with the technical and functional teams who are responsible
for data integrations from source systems, answering their queries
and supporting their processes.
9. Assist users to submit standard change requests, including the
process and the details required.
10. Interpret the requirements of standard change requests and
convert these into appropriate systems solutions - providing
options / recommendations to identify the optimum solution for
the desired outcome.
11. Implement medium complexity configuration changes, including
the modification of existing business rules.
12. Ensure appropriate governance and controls are followed during
development, including independent review and sign-off, use of
rollback methodologies, etc.
13. Undertake full data reconciliations to validate that historic data
has not been inadvertently impacted by changes.
14. Participate in the annual reviews, including the delivery of process
walkthroughs to auditors and the provision of requested
documentary evidence.
15. Monthly review of system audit reports, covering data entry by
admins and changes to security access, metadata and rules, cube
views, confirmation rules, mappings, user groups and user access.
16. Undertake post-patch application testing and annual DR testing.
