Job Description

Position Title

Responsibilities

:
  • Assist the Project Engineer (PE) with the delivery of project requirements related to scope, quantities, quality, cost, and schedule.
  • Responsible for working in an integrated 3D environment, producing design calculations, reports, specifications, evaluation reports, technical recommendations, 3D models, and 2D drawings as per project requirements.
  • Produce and maintain technical and engineering deliverables using 2D and 3D engineering software as required by the project.
  • Facilitate the sharing of technical expertise across projects, including the archival of project documents.
  • Provide and/or participate in training for resources assigned to the project.
  • Perform conceptual layout work for project designs.
  • Develop design details, prepare or extract drawings, and check deliverables prior to release to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Ensure coordination with engineers within the discipline and with other disciplines to ensure project cohesion.
  • Coordinate and review clash detection in the integrated model with other discipline engineers and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Participate in formal engineering review processes to ensure design accuracy and quality.
  • Review vendor drawings and documents, ensuring proper archival and providing inputs to other disciplines as necessary.
  • Represent the discipline during site visits or client meetings, as required by the PE/Project Manager (PM).
  • Support the technology team/project team in the development and automation work as required for project needs.

Experience

:
  • 1-4 years of experience in a relevant design discipline.
  • Experience in engineering packages and software used in design.

Qualifications

:
  • Postgraduate or Graduate in an Engineering discipline.
