Here's a more detailed breakdown of typical duties:Core Responsibilities:• Workday Adaptive Planning Configuration and Maintenance:Setting up and maintaining the Workday Adaptive Planning environment, including data integration, security settings, and user access.• Financial Modeling and Forecasting:Developing and maintaining financial models within the platform, including revenue, expense, and capital planning, as well as conducting dynamic forecasting based on real-time data.• Report and Dashboard Creation:Designing and building custom reports and dashboards to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics.• Collaboration and Communication:Working closely with finance teams, department heads, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, provide training, and ensure alignment on planning processes.• Data Analysis and Insights:Analyzing financial data within Workday Adaptive Planning to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement, and providing insights to support decision-making.• Best Practices and Innovation:Staying up-to-date on Workday Adaptive Planning updates, best practices, and new functionalities, and recommending improvements to optimize the planning process.• Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving:Identifying and resolving issues related to the Workday Adaptive Planning system and processes.Skills and Qualifications:• Workday Adaptive Planning Expertise:Proven experience in configuring, maintaining, and utilizing Workday Adaptive Planning, including model building, formula creation, dimension management, and data integration.• Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):Strong understanding of financial concepts, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.• Data Analysis and Reporting:Ability to analyze financial data, create reports, and develop dashboards to visualize key performance indicators.• Communication and Collaboration:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.• Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues related to the Workday Adaptive Planning system.• Adaptability:Ability to adapt to changing business needs and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
