Job Description

Civil & Mechanical Engineers (Bill Certification & Technical Audit

Subject Line for Application:

Key Responsibilities

Bill Certification & Audit
: Verify contractor bills against executed works, drawings, and specifications.
Technical Review
: Study contract documents, RFC drawings, FCN/DCN, and technical specifications.
Quality Assurance
: Audit compliance with field quality standards, review test certificates, and verify material quality.
Civil Works Audit
:
Verify Joint Measurement Records (JMRs).
Check RA bills with quality documents (NGL, RCC pour cards, cube strength, slump registers, compaction tests, NCR logs, etc.).
Conduct random physical verification of works and materials.
Audit free-issue materials, wastage reconciliation, and extra item analysis.

Mechanical & Structural Works Audit

Verify JMRs, measurement sheets, and isometric sketches.
Review welding consumables, test certificates, DP/radiography/hydro test reports.
Inspect painting, blasting, fit-up, and alignment reports.
Audit structural steel works as per IS codes and shop drawings.

Qualifications

Education
: Bachelors Degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering.
Experience
: Minimum
6 years overall
, with proven expertise in
technical audit of project works and bill certification
.

Skills

Strong knowledge of IS codes, QA/QC practices, and contract compliance.
Ability to conduct audits, prepare reports, and certify works independently.
Excellent coordination and communication skills.
