As a WordPress & Shopify Web Developer at our fast-growing digital marketing agency in Bangalore, your primary role will involve developing, customizing, and maintaining websites using WordPress and Shopify. Your contributions will directly influence the online presence, performance, and success of our clients. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain responsive websites using WordPress and Shopify. - Customize and modify existing themes, including child themes and liquid templates. - Install and configure plugins/apps for SEO, analytics, forms, etc. - Optimize website speed, performance, and responsiveness across various devices. - Ensure adherence to SEO best practices, including on-page SEO, image optimization, and metadata. - Perform regular site updates, backups, and security checks. - Troubleshoot bugs, address UI/UX issues, and manage client revisions. - Collaborate effectively with designers, marketers, and content creators. Required Skills & Experience: - 2+ years of WordPress development experience, including custom themes and page builders like Elementor or WPBakery. - 1+ year of Shopify development experience, encompassing theme edits, Liquid, and Shopify apps. - Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and basic PHP. - Familiarity with WooCommerce and Shopify's eCommerce features. - Proficiency in SEO fundamentals, performance optimization, and analytics setup. - Ability to work with Figma, XD, or PSD files for front-end implementation. - Understanding of website hosting, domain setup, and migration processes. - Keen attention to detail and the capacity to follow creative direction. - Comfortable utilizing tools such as Trello, Slack, Google Workspace, or ClickUp. Nice to Have (Bonus Skills): - Experience with email marketing integrations such as Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or HubSpot. - Knowledge of schema markup and technical SEO. - Familiarity with web accessibility standards (WCAG). - Proficiency in Google Tag Manager & GA4 implementation. - Ability to create landing pages and funnels using tools like Elementor, Leadpages, or Instapage. - Basic image editing skills using Canva, Photoshop, or similar tools.,
