WordPress & Shopify Developer

As a Web Developer specializing in WordPress and Shopify platforms, your primary role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining websites. You will be responsible for customizing themes and templates based on client requirements and ensuring the sites are responsive, SEO-friendly, and cross-browser compatible. Additionally, you will manage eCommerce functionality such as products, cart, checkout, and order flows. Your tasks will also include optimizing website performance, troubleshooting bugs, and collaborating with designers, project managers, and content teams to deliver projects on time. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain websites on WordPress and Shopify platforms - Customize themes and templates based on client requirements - Build responsive, SEO-friendly layouts and ensure cross-browser compatibility - Manage eCommerce functionality: products, cart, checkout, and order flows - Optimize website performance (speed, structure, responsiveness) - Troubleshoot bugs and implement quick fixes - Collaborate with designers, project managers, and content teams to deliver projects on time Qualifications Required: - Proven experience in both WordPress and Shopify development - Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Liquid (Shopify's templating language) - Familiarity with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or similar - Experience with Shopify custom apps and theme development is a plus - Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines - Attention to detail and problem-solving skills - Basic knowledge of SEO best practices - Good communication and team collaboration skills In addition, the preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (though not mandatory). Experience with WooCommerce and Shopify Plus is considered a bonus, as well as basic graphic editing skills using tools like Photoshop or Figma.
