As a Senior WordPress Developer-Web Development at Nethority, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress-based websites and applications. Your role will involve working on complex WordPress plugins, themes, and blocks, contributing to the enhancement of the Engineering discipline through thought leadership and mentorship, and driving the technical vision of large projects in collaboration with key stakeholders. You will also be required to engage with clients, lead demos, and ensure solutions are tested across various platforms before deployment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop complex WordPress plugins, themes, and blocks. - Contribute to improving the Engineering discipline through thought leadership and mentorship. - Drive the technical vision of large projects in collaboration with key stakeholders. - Leverage WordPress APIs and enhance the WordPress admin experience. - Solve complex problems efficiently. - Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. - Engage with clients, conduct demos, and facilitate discussions. - Test solutions across different browsers and platforms in a local testing environment. - Deploy changes to live servers. **Qualifications Required:** - Minimum of five years of experience in back-end development. - Experience in project-level leadership, such as leading a team to solve complex problems. - Expertise in PHP, JavaScript, React.js, WordPress, HTML, CSS, and Git. - Proficient in building custom blocks. - Ability to set up a local environment and proficiently debug performance and caching issues. - Proficiency in verbal and written English would be an added advantage.,
